Anthropomorphism

Artificial Neural Network (ANN)

An artificial neural network (ANN) is a type of model inspired by the way neurons connect in the brain. You can think of it as a flexible pattern-learning engine: given enough examples, it learns relationships—between words and meaning, between features and outcomes, between structure and style. HITL can be lightweight (a quick review before sending) or structured (approval flows, sampling audits, escalation rules). It’s especially important when outputs affect external communication, policies, financial decisions, or sensitive data. The goal isn’t to slow teams down—it’s to keep speed and quality.

Large Language Model (LLM)
